  1. Protein NMR Spectroscopist

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Protein NMR Spectroscopist to join our client; a leading drug discovery organisation focused on developing therapeutic solutions for oncology and CNS disorders.

    In this position, you will play a key part in supporting a fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) platform, using advanced NMR techniques to investigate protein–ligand interactions and drive early-stage drug discovery projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimise protein- and ligand-observed NMR assays
    • Conduct NMR-based fragment screening campaigns
    • Characterise hits and generate data on binding affinity, kinetics, and mechanism of action
    • Prepare isotopically labelled protein samples (expression & purification)
    • Analyse and present data to multidisciplinary project teams

    Key experience:

    • Strong expertise in protein NMR spectroscopy; either from academia or industry experience
    • Experience of troubleshooting & maintaining NMR spectroscopy instruments
    • Solid understanding of protein–ligand interactions and biophysics
    • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams
    • Fragment-based or structure-based drug discovery experience is desirable
    • Experience with other biophysical techniques such as SPR, ITC, MS is desirable

  3. Quality Assurance Specialist

    Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical company seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

    With many of their technical services accredited in accordance with GxP standards, they are looking for a Quality Specialist to support and coordinate Quality Management Systems, ensuring processes are compliant, effective, and continuously improved.

    You will join a dynamic team of Quality Assurance professionals and be responsible for reviewing, establishing, and maintaining processes and procedures that uphold the Quality Management System. A key part of the role will involve preparing, reviewing, and approving batch documentation to enable the timely release of products.

    Additional responsibilities include handling complaints, proposing effective Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), and tracking these through to timely closure.

    Applications are welcome from candidates who have:

    • Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role
    • GxP experience with demonstrable knowledge (desirable)
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in IT systems including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards

    Go-to-Market & Collaboration

    • Work with sales and marketing to define positioning, pricing, and launch strategies
    • Manage product roadmaps and coordinate cross-functional delivery
    • Support development of technical documentation and marketing materials
    • Enable application development to support customer adoption and education

    Performance & Customer Engagement

    • Track product performance using KPIs and market feedback

    • Deliver product training to internal teams

    About You

    Education

    • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, or related field

    Experience

    • Strong background in Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS and/or LC-MS)
    • Experience in applications development, validation, or standardisation
    • Commercial or customer-facing experience is advantageous

    • A degree in Chemistry/Biology or equivalent
    • Hands on experience with HPLC and/or GC
    • Experience developing and validating and analytical methods in line with ICH guidelines
    • Understanding of instrument maintenance, calibration and repair
    • Excellent communication skills
