Our client is an ambitious and growing biotech focusing on developing ground-breaking immunotherapies. By uncovering novel cancer-specific targets and boosting the persistence & sensitivity of cell therapies, they aim to unlock new possibilities for safely treating cancer. They are currently looking for an experienced IT Director to ensure the effective delivery of IT services to the company and full traceability & safety of corporate and scientific data.

Based in Paris, you will play a critical role in the company’s development, engage in strategic decisions for the scientific data and be involved at the operational level on regular end-user activities.

Using your previous experience in pharma and/or biotech, your main responsibilities will include:

-Maintain the continuity of the IT department activities along with external vendors,

-Ensure the technology operations are affectively aligned and integrated with the corporate strategy & budget and communicate efficiently with end-users and stakeholders,

-Improve the management of the company’s scientific data: migration, storage, traceability and assist the scientific team in their data queries technical needs

Other activities will include infrastructures management (upgrades, migration, updates), Cloud (AWS)/Data Management, Cyber Security and User Support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or Data Management and previous IT delivery experience in a pharma/biotech environment.

In order to be successful, you will have experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS (S3 and EC2) and QUILT with Athena for communication.

Due to the work conducted, previous scientific data management experience is mandatory for this position.

Fluency in French and English is required and you must come on site at least 1 day per week (16e arrondissement).

This role is offered on an initial 4-month contract with potential extension depending on progress made.
