Our client is a leading European provider of service solutions and pre-owned systems in the field of mass spectrometry. With a strong presence across Europe and a team of specialists based in the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, they support academic, clinical, and biopharma laboratories by delivering high-quality service contracts, upgrades, and refurbished LC/MS systems.

To support their growing operations in France and French-speaking regions of Belgium and Switzerland, they’re looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with LC/MS expertise, ideally with a strong background in selling service contracts within this sector.

Your Role

Reporting to the Sales Director (based in the Netherlands), you’ll take ownership of developing and growing service activities in France and surrounding francophone markets. This includes:

Driving sales of LC/MS service contracts, upgrades, and refurbished instruments

Managing customer relationships across academic, clinical, and commercial labs

Supporting contract renewals and proactively identifying new service opportunities

Collaborating with field engineers (France, Germany, UK) and HQ-based technical experts

You’ll work from a home office when not on the road (2–3 days per week typically), with full autonomy and access to a support network of engineers and product specialists.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset and deep understanding of LC/MS instrumentation, ideally gained at a company like Waters, Sciex, or Thermo Fisher. You should be confident in the full sales cycle of service contracts, from initial conversation to renewal, and capable of identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Profile

Ideally, a track record in LC/MS-related service contract sales – capex sales experienced candidates will also be considered

Strong knowledge and/or previous experience with LC & LC-MS instrumentation

Strong network in French-speaking scientific markets

Willingness to travel across France, Belgium and Switzerland

Fluent French and professional English

Comfortable working independently and remotely
