In Vivo Studies are utilised within drug development programmes to better evaluate the safety, toxicity and efficacy of drug candidates in a complex model.

Our client is an award-winning Biotech, who are currently seeking an experienced Study Manager to join their Research and Development group.

As a Senior Study Manager, you will spearhead discovery research from project inception to pre-clinical efforts for therapeutic programs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing, scheduling and conducting In-Vivo small rodent studies run externally at CROs
• Tracking & managing Home Office and health & safety requirements,
• Act as lead for training others and establishing In-Vivo protocols
• Visiting external CROs (15-20% of your time) to maintain key relationships and oversee studies

To be considered for this opportunity you will possess:

• BSc, MSc or PhD in relevant Biological Science
• Demonstrable experience in an industry setting working with In-vivo disease models and managing studies within a range of disease areas
• Project Management experience of non-clinical studies and knowledge of Home office licence regulations
