Our client develop novel high-end technologies and provide software solutions for comprehensive data processing & analysis in mass spectrometry as well as advanced hardware MS data acquisition.

Thanks to their expertise in MS, they offer consulting, training and CRO services. They are currently looking for an ambitious Scientist with strong Antibody & Mass Spec data analysis experience to join them in France and grow the business.

As part of an exciting collaboration with a biomolecular mass spectrometry lab from a prestigious institute, you will be developing, validating and benchmarking algorithms and scientific software for mass spectrometry data processing and analysis. The focus is on biopharma applications, especially top-down and middle-down sequencing on antibodies and other biotherapeutics.

The successful candidate will attend national and international scientific conferences and collaborate with renowned partner laboratories in Europe. You will be interested in developing the company, participate in marketing activities and even find customers.

With a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Sciences/Bioinformatics (or closely related field), you will have a solid experience in mass spectrometry applications, particularly in antibody analysis through bottom-up and top-down proteomics approaches.

Proficiency in programming in Python would be advantageous.

To succeed in this position, you must enjoy solving problems, have an entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills (English essential, French is a plus).

Although the company’s site is in Lyon, you can be based anywhere in France as long as you are willing to travel every so often to the office.
