Production Engineer – Manufacturing & Industrialisation (Buckinghamshire)

Take ownership of engineering support and manufacturing optimisation with a global leader in laboratory technology. We’re seeking a proactive, solutions-driven Production Engineer to strengthen manufacturing processes and ensure seamless project transfer from design to production.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the smooth handover of new products and engineering projects into full-scale manufacturing.
  • Design, develop, and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support production teams.
  • Create and maintain clear, high-quality documentation to enable efficient and repeatable manufacture.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support across plant equipment, machinery, tooling, and production assets.
  • Support sourcing, specification, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost-reduction.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues, ensuring adherence to technical standards.
  • Coordinate tasks within the production engineering team and support junior team members where required.

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented engineer with:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent production engineering experience.
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on, practical mindset.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
