Environmental Monitoring Scientist

In this role you will join a dynamic and supportive team with the aim to maintain the efficient operation of a leading pharmaceutical organisation.

You will be responsible for performing Microbiology testing and validation needs, with the goal of ensuring the quality of work is in accordance with the required regulatory standards. This will include testing for bioburden, endotoxin testing, Concentration, and Conductivity and testing for known/unknown pathogens. You will also be responsible for confirming the safety of working practices within the laboratory and performing routine verification of laboratory data.

Skills and Experience:

• BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences (Microbiology preferred)

• 1+ years’ experience performing Environmental Monitoring testing in a GMP setting (ideally pharmaceutical)

• Strong work ethic and organisational skills

• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
