Exciting opportunity for an emerging sales specialist to join a market leader in food microbiology testing services.

Food & Beverages is a heavily regulated and competitive market. Our client is a market leader in the food and beverage testing industries, working with large multinational companies as well as small start-ups in order to maintain consumer safety and product quality.

In this exciting opportunity, you will focus on the development of the microbiology testing business using your microbiology background, commercial mindset and customer service capabilities.

Our client partners with an extensive list of members, of which, have their own supply chains to be targeted within this role. Your responsibility is to systemically navigate the CRM, targeting warm accounts which you can provide targeted microbiology testing services to.

You will be supported by your colleagues, who are experts within the industry, providing technical information and guidance that will bolster your service offer.

Some of your main activities will include:

Developing and implementing sales action plans

Prospecting, generating and follow-up of leads

Technical and commercial discussions with customers

Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required

Attending meetings and exhibitions

Some travel would be expected, to visit potential and existing customers, as well as monthly visits to HQ in Gloucestershire.
