They are currently looking for an accomplished Mechanical R&D Manager in Eindhoven to lead a team of engineers specializing in mechanical engineering and designing for vacuum systems.

As a Group Leader/R&D Manager, you will be leading a team of 15-20 Engineers and Experts specialized in mechanical engineering and designing for high and ultra-high vacuum systems. Thanks to your solid experience, you will act as a coach and mentor for your team, focusing on the development of individuals and the team on their competences and skills. You will also liaise with suppliers and development partners to remain on top of new trends & technologies within the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background with solid experience in design principles of mechanical system development. To be successful, you must have at least 5 years’ experience leading a team of people in a high-tech R&D environment.

Previous experience in a scientific and/or precision engineering sector will be a strong advantage but all relevant candidates with outstanding people management will be considered.
