About this job

Our client provides expert technical and laboratory support for the vast portfolio of clients in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development sectors. They provide services that support the development of therapeutics (including: mAbs, bispecific antibodies, peptides, viruses, cell and gene therapies) throughout their lifecycle, spanning all phases within the pre-clinical and clinical development.

They are currently seeking an Analyst to join their materials characterisation team. Here, you’ll work independently and collaboratively on a range of diverse client projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine analysis using various material characterisation techniques such as Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), DSC, DVS, TGA, XRD, FTIP, CD etc.
  • Providing regulated analytical services for (bio)pharmaceutical development (GLP, GMP, GCP)
  • Working independently to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Interacting with clients, reporting outcomes, and formulating problem-solving strategies.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Biology/Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
  • Experience in one or more material characterisation techniques: DLS, DSC, FTIR, DVS, TGA, XRD etc.
  • Strong understanding of GMP principles desired, and/or previous experience working in a regulated laboratory.
  • Excellent communication skills
