With a global project portfolio boasting an annual CAPEX of €100 million and aspirations to surpass €300 million, our client has established a Project Assurance department. This newly created division aims to seamlessly integrate Risk Management and Quality Assurance activities to ensure the timely and budgeted delivery of capital projects.

As a key player embedded within the Design Authority, you, as the Project Assurance Specialist, will provide independent and objective assurance to the broader business. Collaborating closely with the Project Assurance Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of the annual assurance plan, fostering continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Your role extends to being a subject matter expert in the governance of various business functions such as capital project delivery, engineering, finance, corporate risk, and business development. You will be the face and expert of multiple business processes, comprehending the intricacies and interactions between them. This knowledge is vital for ensuring the success of capital projects while actively participating in continuous improvement processes.

The successful candidate will be involved in multiple project boards, handling projects ranging from several hundred million euros to multi-billion euros. Expertise in capital project delivery and adept stakeholder management skills are prerequisites for this role.

As an ideal candidate, you possess an engineering background (Bachelor or equivalent in a technical subject) and bring project control/project consultancy experience. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of German and/or Dutch is preferred. Strong organisational and planning skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, are characteristics we value.
