Last month, Franck attended the 45^th HPLC Symposium in Prague where many scientists, speakers, poster presenters and instrument vendors met to share information about methods for liquid chromatography and its various forms.

The HPLC Symposium series is a great place to meet for researchers dealing with separations in liquid phases and supercritical fluids, covering all aspects of fundamental and experimental approaches, novel instrumentation, column-technologies and cutting-edge applications.

This year, the organisers decided to promote the next generation of scientists’ work and they were proud to report that a third of the presentations were given by young researchers! The rest of the talks and tutorials were given by experienced and accomplished scientists where many subjects were discussed including electrophoresis, electro-chromatography, field-flow fractionation, supercritical fluid chromatography and hyphenated techniques such as LC/MS, CE/MS and SFC/MS.

International conferences of this kind are great opportunities for VRS to meet with existing and potential future clients as well as candidates, allowing us to tell you more about what we do and can do for you, whether you’re looking for a job or for an employee. It is always a pleasure to talk with such interesting and passionate people about their work and it also allows us to keep up to date with the latest technologies on the market.

To conclude, we are pleased to say that Franck had an amazing time in the lovely city of Prague and we will be looking forward to the next editions taking place respectively in Jeju (Korea – 2017), Washington (USA – 2018) and Milan (Italy – 2019)!
