About this job

Our client is a key player within medical devices sector, focused on delivering accurate non-invasive, point of care tests to patients. Their patented technology is used to measure patient breath samples for specific volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) as biomarkers of cancer, liver disease and gut microbiome diseases. The Scientific Portfolio Manager is essential in driving the improvement and delivery of these life-saving devices.

Within this role, you will act as an essential point of communication between Research and Development, internal and external stakeholders, and commercial teams. You will be responsible for outlining essential, achievable roadmaps for the development of projects and information releases.

You will work interdepartmentally on multiple projects, providing expert insight into key growth areas and directing budgets accordingly.

By working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, you will relay vital information to stakeholders regarding project progress.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in scientific portfolio management within a clinically focused SME setting
• Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders
• The ability to take accountability and make effective decisions
• A goal driven and strategic commercial mindset
