Our client is a SME Contract Research Organisation based in Cheshire. They are currently searching for an experienced Financial Controller to join their organisation to help them through a period of growth.

You will be assisting the finance team with general duties including, but not limited to, the production of a monthly report for management, budgeting, forecasting, PAYE, VAT and managing bills from suppliers. Once a year, you will assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts for the business, ready for publishing. You will also be ensuring new starters and current employees are fully briefed and correctly managing their pension plans, alongside other more general financial duties.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working at our clients state-of-the-art laboratory and offices in Cheshire. You must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have experience in a similar role.

Candidates who have used Xero/SAGE or QuickBooks are at an advantage as are those who have a high attention to detail.
