Our client is a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation, which are used in a wide variety of organisations and institutions. Due to a increase in sales for their latest innovations, they are currently searching to expand their international shipping department and capabilities.

You will be joining a small but hard working team, ensuring that chemicals and devices are shipped to customers on time and with the correct paperwork. You will ensure import and export documentation is correct by collaborating with the sales and purchasing teams. You will also provide support to colleagues in the inputting and reviewing of customer orders on the central management system, ensuring that the required invoices are correct. Our client strives for operational efficiency and so a part of your role will involve the monitoring of the order processing department and the improvement any areas that fall short of expectations.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent contract and you will be based at our clients site in Braunschweig, Germany. You must be able to communicate fluently in both German and English.

Candidates are encouraged to apply who have experience with international customs and regulations. Working knowledge of NetSuite and/or SalesForce is also beneficial. Those who have strong customer service skills are at an advantage.
