Fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Field Service Engineer or enthusiastic HPLC user, to join a rapidly expanding and renowned distributor of specialist scientific instruments.

Our client supplies and supports the ongoing operation of cutting-edge instruments and technologies across the UK pharmaceutical, environmental, life science, food, clinical and biotechnology markets.

Working as a Field Service Engineer you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a variety of analytical instruments throughout the North of England and Scotland. In addition to this you will complete on-site installation and calibrations to manufacturer specifications and provide technical support to scientists and users. You must be prepared to travel extensively (up to 80%) and take a proactive team-centric approach; assisting colleagues where required, such as supporting with technical sales interactions.

Applications are invited from both experienced engineers and instrument users are keen to move into field service. Experience with HPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry and/or other analytical instrumentation is essential. Previous experience working with HPLC & GC instruments in the pharma, medical or chemical industries is highly advantageous.
