Our client is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to ensure the safety, authenticity, and accuracy of their products. Recently, they have expanded their Genomics division in the UK to aim at catering for large sequencing projects.

We are seeking an experienced Bioinformatics Project Manager to implement and manage automated processes to transform raw NGS data to a format where it can be exploited by clients. You will play a central role in communicating with laboratory staff who are processing the samples and also clients to ensure that scope, timelines and client requests are adhered to.

You should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge and experience of NGS Data processing, experience with Illumina Basespace/DNANexus is desirable
• Effective communication skills and ability to independently organise own work
