Account Manager - Immunodiagnostics

Our client is a key player well established in its industry, helping laboratories around the world to enable scientific advancements in many areas such as healthcare, environment, food safety and water quality.

They are currently looking for ambitious and motivated Account Managers to drive sales for their immunodiagnostic portfolio in the Netherlands.

Your main objective will be to retain, grow and gain allergy & autoimmunity business. To achieve this, you will be negotiating complex, long-term contracts working in partnership with existing and new key stakeholders as laboratories consolidate as well as increasing the prescriber base within primary care.

Thanks to your scientific background, you will understand what scientists need to reach their goals and will be able to develop partnerships and commercialise new & exciting solutions with customers on your territory.

With a strong background (ideally biomedical sciences) and experience within the immunodiagnostic arena, you will liaise strong relationships with both private and public customers to achieve your objectives.

Some of your main activities will include:

-Develop and implement action plans

-Prospection, generation and follow-up of leads

-Technical and commercial follow-ups with customers

-Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required

-Attend talks, conferences and national & international meetings

Around 50-75% travel is expected to visit potential and existing customers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Life Sciences and previous laboratory experience within a relevant environment. To succeed in this challenging role, you will also have solid tender/contract/managed provider experience.

As a people person, you must enjoy helping people, have excellent communication skills, be organised and proactive. Fluency in Dutch is highly desirable.
