Excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to join a reputed leader in the Scientific instrumentation sector as a Sales Director for France.

Our client is recognized globally as a leader in the development of high-quality elemental & thermal analysis equipment, mass spectrometers & chromatographs, metallography & optical equipment, and consumables.

They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motived Instrumentation Sales Director to lead the sales team across all product lines for France. In this role, you will be responsible for:

-Developing and Optimising Sales:

Propose and implement sales strategies, analysing their impacts

Define sales targets for your team and elaborate plans to meet the business objectives

Closely work with other departments such as Marketing, Product Managers and other European Sales Teams

Follow up on prospecting activities & field visits to optimise your territory

-Managing the Instrumentation Sales team (4 people)

Direct, motivate, mentor and develop a team of Sales Specialists

Ensure your team has all the tools and help they require to achieve their objectives, offering necessary training and classes for individual development

Ensure an excellent internal communication with other services (Consumables, Service, Finance, Admin and overall European Structure)

Participate in sales & staff staff meetings as well as national, European and International meetings to pass on the business sales strategies to your team

To be considered for this exciting role, you will have:

-BSc, MSc And/or PhD Chemistry, Biochemistry (or similar)

-Strong Scientific Sales experience in a relevant sector

-Management of a Sales Team (mentoring, setting up targets, follow ups, etc)

-Fluency in French and strong command of the English language, any other language is advantageous

-Excellent communication and organisation skills, be a people-person with a strong business acumen
