The scientific sector in the UK is one of the fastest growing industries in the country. With increasing competition, more companies are turning towards data to enable them to make informed management decisions to facilitate their growth.

Our client is one of the largest Forensic Science organisations in the world, with a multimillion pound turnover. They are currently searching for a Data Visualisation Analyst to join their team.

You will be leading the change over from manual data input, using GoogleSheets and Excel, to Automated software such as PowerBI and utilising SQL. Once the systems have been modernised and tested, they will be rolled out across other group business units within Europe.

You will play a vital role, communicating between multiple teams including Finance, IT and Laboratory Operations to enable data to be shared, processed and analysed easier, quicker and more efficiently than before. Once you have an overview of the key data, you will periodically present management reports to the Senior Leadership Team, enabling informed, data-backed business decisions to be made.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be based at our clients headquarters in West London, however a hybrid working model is available. You will be working as part of a 10 person finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

For this role, you must have prior experience working with PowerBI and SQL. Candidates with experience in large scale project work or introducing automation procedures in large, multi-site organisations will be at an advantage.

Due to the nature of our client and their work, the successful candidate must be able to aquire UK security clearance. We are therefore unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK or those who have not lived in the UK for 5 years consecutively.
