Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation conducting novel drug discovery & development projects across abroad a range of therapeutic areas including, Neuroscience, Inflammation, Immunology, Oncology etc.

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Research or Senior Scientist to join their Target Validation Team to support the development of novel therapeutics for inflammatory diseases. You will use your expertise in cell and molecular biology to contribute to the delivery of life-changing therapeutics through the biological validation of new targets.


  • BSc/MSc with at least 2 years lab experience OR PhD in related topic
  • Strong experience with cell culture techniques ideally using relevant joint cells/primary cells
  • Preferable experience in other cell and molecular biology techniques e.g. flow cytometry, high content imaging, ELISA/MSD, Western Blotting, qPCR
  • Desirable knowledge of siRNA, CRISPR gene-editing or transfection
  • Ability to confidently present, analyse and conclude results data
  • A background in inflammatory skin or joint conditions would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
