Within the scientific industry, Field Service Engineers are responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of a range of scientific equipment. They provide excellent customer care in a challenging hands-on position, servicing instruments used in a range of industries.

Our client services, refurbishes and sells Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography instruments providing high-value analytical and diagnostic solutions to a variety of industries.

Due to an increase in demand for their service, we are seeking an experienced Mass Spectrometry Service Engineer to join their growing team. As a field based engineer, you will be required to travel to customer sites across France for the service and repair of their high end Mass Spectrometry products.

To be suitable for this position, you will have/be:

• A relevant science or engineering qualification
• Previous experience using or servicing Mass Spectrometry instruments – ideally Sciex
• Comfortable with travel (between 60-80% of your time will be on the road)
• Excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service
• Fluent in English
