Our client is a key player well established in its industry, helping laboratories around the world to enable scientific advancements in many areas such as healthcare, environment, food safety and water quality.
Thanks to their successful previous years, they are expanding the team and are currently looking for an ambitious and motivated Account Manager to drive sales for RT-PCR and Capillary Electrophoresis instruments, kits and consumables into clinical/diagnostic environments.
Using your expertise in PCR and related assays, you will understand what scientists need to reach their goals and will be able to develop partnerships and commercialise new & exciting solutions with customers on your territory.
With a strong background and experience within the clinical/IVD diagnostic arena, you will liaise strong relationships with hospitals and pathology research centres to achieve your objectives.
Some of your main activities will include:
-Develop and implement action plans
-Prospection, generation and follow-up of leads
-Technical and commercial follow-ups with customers
-Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support and assistance required
-Attend talks, conferences and national & international meetings
Expected travel in Norway is around 40% to 50% of your time.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong technical background (qPCR, RT-PCR, CE, etc) and solid experience within a clinical environment. Previous sales experience and a broad network within the hospital sector would be highly advantageous but candidates with the right attitude and personality will also be considered.
To succeed in this position, you must enjoy helping people, have excellent communication skills, be organised and proactive. Fluency in Norwegian is highly desirable.
