The Mass Spectrometry sector is a broad landscape, in which there are a variety of instruments and services being constantly improved and designed by manufacturers and solution providers. Companies that operate within this sector require skilled salespeople that both understand how to target markets and are comfortable competing within them.

Within this role you will be representing a niche portfolio of MALDI-TOF instruments to an international client base. Your objective; to increase revenue by growing distributor relationships.

This senior appointment is a vital role for the growth and development of our client’s business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the commercial process, as well as being involved in product evolution. Working on a global business development scale you will be responsible for the key commercial aspects of the product – ensuring new markets and applications are explored and exploited.

You must come from a scientific instrumentation background, ideally within the Mass Spectrometry sector and have a real understanding of the commercial world. This is a senior position within the organisation and as such extensive industry experience is essential. You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package and a real opportunity to direct and grow the business.
