Quality Assurance (QA) plays a critical role in ensuring laboratories perform in the safest and most efficient way. The ramifications of improperly managed QA can be felt throughout a company, from the scientists in the lab, all the way to up to stakeholders. Within the pharmaceutical industry, QA plays a crucial role in the production of medication, making sure consistently high-quality products are manufactured following relevant regulations and safety guidelines. A system of QA within a business builds confidence between the company and its consumers which is crucial in building credibility and a positive reputation.

Our client has over 30 years’ experience providing GMP pharmaceutical analytical testing and formulation development services to the global pharmaceutical industry.

As a Graduate QA Officer, you will support the laboratory team, ensuring the highest quality of analytical testing. You will be responsible for the inspection of lab equipment, the maintenance of up-to-date records as well as involvement in laboratory audits.

This is an ideal first move into Quality Assurance, where applicants with a strong aptitude for Quality and a thorough understanding of regulated lab operations are invited to apply. The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of BSc in Chemistry (or related) discipline
• Practical background in a regulated lab environment (GMP, GCP, GMP, GXP, ISO)
• Understanding of GMP preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills
