Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation conducting novel drug discovery & development projects across a broad range of therapeutic areas including Neuroscience, Inflammation, Immunology, Oncology etc.
Due to an expansion project we are seeking a motivated Pharmacologist to join the in vitro pharmacology team, supporting target-based screening & MOA studies for both new chemical & biological entities within the immunology therapeutics area.
This is a lab-based position, seeking a candidate with a proactive mindset and an enthusiasm for problem solving! Although experience with tissue culture and developing cell-based assays is required, the successful candidate will be presented with opportunities for further training and learning.
This position is for you if you have…
- A BSc, MSc, PhD Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related degree.
- Experience in tissue culture of primary human cells and cell lines.
- Practical experience performing, developing & troubleshooting cell-based screening assays such as flow cytometry, high-content screening, reporter cell assays etc.
- An aptitude for data analytics, including the use of visualisation tools such as Spotfire (or equivalent)
The recruitment process is likely to be two stages. The first will be an initial screening video call across MS Teams, followed by an onsite visit and tour of the facilities.
