For over 50 years, our client has been developing and manufacturing analytical instruments (LC, GC, GC-MS – Q & QQQ, + analysers) in Europe, aiming to provide excellence in products, services and innovations to private and public markets. They are currently looking for an ambitious and motivated Applications Engineer.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new applications & methods for the company’s range of analytical instrumentation including GC, GC-MS (Q & QQQ) and HPLC, across a range of application sectors, meeting the needs of customers around the world!

Based from the company’s demo lab you will also provide ongoing support to customers, training sessions and technical support to the global sales team during instrument purchases and sales pitches.

The ideal candidate will have a background in GC and/or GC-MS analysis, be comfortable developing methods from scratch and have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and a desire to challenge themselves in a customer facing position.

The first interview will consist of a Teams Video interview with the Applications Manager and will be followed by a second on-site interview with other members of the company.
