Exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist to utilise their knowledge of solid state chemistry and characterisation within a leading pharmaceutical organisation.

Joining the team as a Materials Scientist, you will perform routine and non-routine analysis using techniques such as XRD, thermal analysis, NMR, intrinsic dissolution, amongst others for the generation of solid state chemistry data. You will also run experiments to isolate materials, determine thermodynamic relationships and characterise samples.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • PhD in chemistry or relevant subject, or 4+ years’ experience in a similar field
  • Practical knowledge of solid state chemistry and characterisation
  • Experience using NMR, XRD, spectroscopy, dissolution etc.
  • Experience working in a GLP environment
