The Agrochemical and Biocides industry is a billion-dollar market that plays a crucial role in the protection of plants and animals and the preservation of goods.

Our client is a leading, dynamic contract analytical company with over 30 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical, agricultural and biocides industries. The independent family-owned business is currently looking for an experienced scientist to join their expanding team focusing on HPLC and GC.

You will be based within the Agrochemicals and Biocides products team and will focus on sample analysis by HPLC and GC, as well as physical and chemical testing. In addition to completing work punctually and to a high standard, you will be required to work on projects both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure targets are achieved.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• BSc in chemistry related discipline (required)
• Ca.3 years practical laboratory experience (required)
• Practical experience of chromatographic techniques (specifically HPLC and GC)
• Experience of sample clean-up procedure and basic understanding of GLP
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in the agrochemical industry (desirable, although not essential)
