Rewarding opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical company as a Formulation Scientist!

Working alongside a talented team of Scientists, you will aid in the design and analysis of parenteral dosage forms at all stages of development. Utilising your previous experience, you will design and undertake high quality scientific experimentation to further the formulation and process development of parenteral dosage forms for novel drug candidates.

Additional duties will include:

• To perform hands-on laboratory experiments using small scale manufacturing technologies, such as aseptic solution compounding, lyophilization and analytical techniques such as HPLC.
• To assess the chemical and physical stability of formulations in collaboration with analytical departments and to identify the root cause of potential stability, manufacturability, and performance issues.
• To communicate effectively to the project team and present data at team meetings.
• To interpret scientific data to derive clear conclusions and contribute to the direction of future work.

Applications are invited from accomplished Chemists within a Formulation environment, who are confident in the analysis and characterisation of liquid dosage forms. You will have experience resolving associated technical challenges and have a good understanding of the fate of active pharmaceutical ingredients in drug products.
