The radiation detection sector is growing. From military uses and nuclear power stations, to medical research and cancer diagnosis, radiation and radioactive isotopes are becoming a more frequent part of everyday life.

Our client is an industry leader in Radiation Detection equipment. They research, design, build, sell and ultimately deliver their own bespoke equipment to customers such as the Ministry of Defense, NHS/private medical clinics, and nuclear power stations around the world.

This forward-thinking, family orientated company based in the South of England are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. Your main responsibilities will include working closely with various department managers to ensure the smooth operation of their Goods in, Warehouse, Production Line and Goods Out departments. You will build on the foundations laid by your predecessor, whilst being able to make informed decisions to implement your own ideas and procedures. You will also play a leading role in the implementation of new management software, Microsoft Dynamics. Your goal being to improve efficiency across the production aspect of the company.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis in West Sussex. Due to the nature and seniority of this role, you will be expected to be on-site 5 days per week.

Candidates with a proven track record of operational experience in a ISO accredited, complex electronics production environment will be at an advantage, as are those who have experience with Microsoft Dynamics software.
