The testing of urine and saliva samples to screen for the presence of illicit drug substances is essential to ensuring the safety of employees in the workplace.

Our client is performing the screening and confirmation of workplace drug samples, testing for a wide range of illegal substances and a position has arisen in the confirmations department for a LC-MS/MS Analyst to join the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing biological samples for toxicological analysis using LC-MS/MS instrumentation and following in-house SOPs and QC procedures
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation
• Data processing and entry onto LIMS
• Validating new methods
• Experience performing analysis using LC-MS/MS instrumentation
• Toxicological background is desirable
• Exposure to UKAS ISO17025 or equivalent
• Previous use of LIMS is desirable
• Strong team working abilities and excellent communication skills
