Genetic toxicology screening activities are vital in the development of safer chemicals & medicines. Our client are a technical CRO specialising in delivering toxicology assessment, utilising innovative screening platforms to understand mode-of-action and manage potential risks.

Due to expansion, our client are establishing an in-house HPLC analytical laboratory responsible for directing the dose formulation analysis phase of genetic toxicology studies. We are therefore seeking an (Associate) Principal Scientist to take accountability for establishing a GLP compliant analytical service for internal teams comprising of >40 members.

Your major responsibilities will include: -

  • Method development, validation & sample analysis across of a range of chemistry including pharma, agrochemical & chemical industries.
  • Accurate reporting of analytical phases of GLP compliant genetic toxicology studies

This business is for you if you possess…

  • Relevant degree in analytical sciences
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC-UV
  • Experience in in vitro/in vivo dose formulation & QC batch release analysis would be ideal however our client would consider scientist from other backgrounds
  • LC method development and troubleshooting skills
  • GLP experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting scientific data to both experts and non-experts
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for training and sharing knowledge with team members.

The recruitment process will involve an initial video call with the hiring managers followed by an onsite in-depth interview to explore the facilities and meet further members of the team.
