Our client have exciting expansion plans and are looking for talented Chemistry graduates to join their Process Chemistry team in September 2023.

The Process Chemistry team have a passion to apply the latest synthetic organic chemistry research to solve challenging synthetic problems encountered during the synthesis of complex active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Working at the cutting edge of pharmaceutical drug compound synthesis, you will be responsible for running novel synthetic routes to active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in the laboratory at small scale (mg to g), then applying these methods in the company’s pilot plant at kilogram scale, producing kilogram quantities of pharmaceutical API for early phase clinical trials.

You will be supported by an experienced team of industry qualified synthetic organic chemists that will provide you with comprehensive training in both synthetic organic chemistry and process chemistry skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for Masters qualified Chemists looking to learn and develop excellent synthetic laboratory skills across a range of synthetic organic chemistry reactions and scales.

Applications are invited from MSc/MChem students due to graduate in 2023 (minimum 2.1) who will have completed a synthetic organic chemistry research project or year in industry. You will be expected to demonstrate a passion for synthetic organic chemistry and a desire to build a career in pharmaceutical drug synthesis.
