VRS are a niche scientific recruitment agency with a 20 year heritage in Chemistry and the Life Sciences. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing STEM graduate to join a specialist team in our South Manchester office!

You will be involved in the full recruitment life cycle:-

• Initial client contact – talking to managers understanding their science & people needs
• Candidate identification – Calls & use of a variety of software programmes
• Interviewing - conducting technical conversations to fully understand candidate abilities & requirements
• Relaying job offers & conducting salary negotiations

You will also be immersed in the broader business – gaining exposure to business development, marketing and account management as well as day to day office activities.

This is a unique opportunity where upon completion of training, you will be given a large amount of independence and opportunity to develop your own scientific niche - ideal for a self-starter looking to have real input into their company!

A Chemistry/Physics/Engineering/Biology (or related) degree is essential. Previous sales experience or customer service exposure would be beneficial, as would experience in an industrial lab setting.
