Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor of high-end scientific equipment based in The Netherlands. Their instruments are used in a range of laboratories worldwide to solve various problems and analyse samples from sectors such as pharmaceutical, environmental, food, etc…

They are developing, manufacturing and distributing these instruments in Europe with headquarters in South Netherlands.

In order to improve efficiency in the manufacturing processes, they are currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their team in Goes. With over 40 production orders per month, you will ensure the accurate planning of all existing product assembly and final testing activities, continually driving improvement and impact on change management across the business.

Working directly with the Production Manager and Production team, you will use your skills and experience to plan, forecast, initiate changes and become a key user of the ERP system in place.

Some of the main activities you will be taking part in are:

-Generating and maintaining master production schedules, coordinating with the production team,

-Track and monitor production to schedule,

-Analyse performance of the operations and research ways to increase efficiency and reduce lead times,

-Review and forecast short & long term customer demands.

This role will suit someone with previous experience in factories, with a strong understanding of assembly, parts & supplies bases and production environments.

Due to the technical nature of the business, an Applied Sciences (or closely related) background would be ideal. With a planning and supply chain training (HBO, APICS), you will will be able to demonstrate a strong planning experience.

The ideal candidate will possess good spoken and written Dutch & English languages skills. Previous experience with Production/Manufacturing modules in ERP systems is mandatory, working experience with EPICOR-ERP would be an advantage.
