Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Engineer to join this leading diagnostics company.
You will provide field service support for High Content Screening and associated robotics products. You will carry out repairs, maintenance and installation of instrumentation and their accessories alongside providing onsite user training. You will need to be able to communicate in a professional manner with customers on all levels, providing service information, technical data and general help as necessary.
- Full UK driving licence
- HND or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a Biotechnology discipline
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Background in Electronics and understanding of analytical and clinical instrumentation
- Experience servicing and/or using HCS or similar equipment highly desirable
- Excellent people management and communication skills
As this is a field service role around the Midlands area, you will be provided with a company car. You will also have the opportunity to perform services on behalf of the company at the sites of overseas customers.
