Our client is a leader in its industry, manufacturing high-end scientific instruments that provide a range of solutions to many sectors. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Support to focus on proteomics mass spectrometry activities.
In this new role, you will join a team of Technical Sales Specialists, each responsible for specific product lines, with the aim to improve the business potential in the field of proteomics mass spec.
Using your strong technical background and skills in proteomics, your role will be to discover potential opportunities within this market in order to improve allegiance and sales revenue for the business.
From initial discussions with potential clients, you will be able to help them by directing them towards the most suited solutions for their scientific challenges. Working closely with other departments, you will share the voice of the customer towards the business unit and attend technical collaborations visits to manufacturing and R&D sites.
You will have close relationships with sales, marketing and support groups to work on strategies to achieve sales goals and metrics, while maintaining awareness of competitor and industry activities.
This role will suit an experienced Proteomics LC-MS Scientist with previous Apps and/or commercial experience. Excellent communication and people skills are required to succeed in this role, as is the willingness to help and support customers.
Travel is expected to be around 50% of your time between BeNeLux, Nordics and the UK/Ireland and you can be based anywhere in these locations as long as you are near an airport.
