Exciting opportunity for a talented Scientist with expertise in both protein production and virology to join the New Modalities and Therapeutics department of a leading laboratory to support with the design, development and delivery of future biologic drugs.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for the development of new bispecific antibodies, protein-based therapeutics and viral based gene therapies from inception to delivery. You will demonstrate your experience with techniques such as protein production, development and implementation of new assays, in addition to the generation of experimental data.

Key requirements:

  • PhD in relevant field (industry experience preferable)
  • Experience of protein production and molecular biology techniques
  • Experience in virology or gene therapy
  • Experience of the design and implementation of assays to measure functions and other properties
  • Excellent communication and team working skills

This is an excellent opportunity to gain industrial biopharmaceutical experience and contribute to improving the lives of those living with severe diseases.

This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension.
