Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a specialist Scientific Equipment & Advanced Materials supplier!

This is a unique opening within the business to take ownership of a portfolio of products supporting the Energy & Battery Research Sector!

Primarily serving customers within Academic and Commercial research groups across the UK and Europe, you will be responsible for partnering/ collaborating with Scientists, assisting them to achieve their R&D goals. This position will involve maintaining and growing accounts with existing customers and will have a strong focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities!

Experience: -

  • BSc, MSc, PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or other relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Technical Sales position, candidates with strong business development skills are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable travelling ~50% of time across a territory covering the UK
  • Proven experience hitting and exceeding targets

This is a predominantly home-based role with travel to customer sites & industry related conferences. There will be expectation will be to visit the office close to Birmingham 2-4 times/month

You will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary and an uncapped bonus scheme for sales above your OTE!
