Exciting opportunity to join a renowned global organisation as an Account Manager specialising in Chromatography (U/HPLC & GC) and Mass spectrometry products.
Based in the North East, the territory will have particular focus on accounts in and around the Newcastle area. Predominantly responsible for account management for private sector accounts; pharma/biotechs, food safety and environmental, there will be also expectation of identifying new leads.
Ultimate aim is to hit & surpass territory revenue target, predominantly through the sale of consumables and small capital equipment related to; HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS and ICP.
Day-to-day account management includes maintaining contact with customers, arranging visits/video calls, producing quotes, closing sales and handling any technical enquires.
This role will suit someone has previous scientific sales experience, looking for a new challenge, the company are well establish and there will the opportunity to grow and progress within the business!
Candidates must have previous sales experience and a scientific degree –Chemistry or similar along with excellent communication and time management skills.
