Rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join a team building the next generation of scientific analysis and instrument control software in Manchester! You will be joining a friendly and dynamic software team within a collaborative working environment where you will be encouraged to share and suggest new ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and building new applications; coding mainly in C# and C++.

Designing and implementing extensions to underlying frameworks for scientific instrument control, data acquisition and data processing.

Share ideas and contribute to projects in a dynamic and open policy environment.

Core Requirements:

BSc/MSc/PhD in a scientific/technical subject

Strong interest in programming with exposure to C#/C++ in academia or industry

Analytical with exceptional problem-solving abilities

Team player, flexible and excellent communications are essential

.NET knowledge and previous algorithm and UI development experience is highly desirable.
