Exciting opportunity for an experienced Scientist to start a Technical Sales career or for an experienced Scientific Sales person to join a niche and innovative company.
Our client is looking for a driven and motivated individual to identify new, and grow current accounts across the UK and mainland Europe. This role will predominantly involve the sale of a cutting-edge range of mass spectrometry instruments – primarily to pharmaceutical sector.
Knowledge of mass spectrometry/chromatography is highly beneficial due to the technical nature of the sales process. Exposure to key industries - pharma, biopharma, food and academia is also very desirable.
This is a new and exciting position within the company and will suit someone with high-energy that is highly motivated and driven. You will be afforded a lot of autonomy with your approach from an experience and supportive business development team. Initially you will be office based during training with the option of progressing to home-based working as your product knowledge and client bookings increase.
You will be expected to travel significantly with this role covering the whole of the UK and mainland Europe and as such fluency in a second language such as French/Italian or Spanish would be highly desirable.
