Excellent opportunity for a Software Test Engineer looking for a new challenge, involving the analysis and testing of the software platform for cutting-edge instrumentation.

Our client, an expanding biopharmaceutical instrumentation manufacturer, is looking for a motivated Software Tester or Chemist with an interest in IT to join a small and friendly team building the next generation of data analysis and instrument control software.

As an integral part of the Software team, you will be responsible for the designing and running the regression tests for the Mass Spectrometer software, proving the control function and user interface, managing the error recording software and coordinating the software delivery process.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Experience as a Software Tester or strong interest in IT
  • Good understanding of Chemistry (minimum B at A-Level)
  • Motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Exposure to Mass Spectrometry desirable
  • Experience of automated testing and JIRA desirable

This role would suit a Chemistry graduate seeking an IT role or an experienced Software Testing with Chemistry knowledge. Our client offers excellent progression and the opportunity to cross-train in the small & dynamic group.

This is a full-time permanent position based in South West London.
