Rare and highly rewarding opportunity for an expert in Molecular Biology to join a world-leading scientific business!
Your primary responsibilities will include establishing, promoting and leading an exciting new Gene Doping research programme for our clients’ current portfolio. In-house you will be the recognised technical expert and have primary responsibility for the development and validation of challenging novel molecular biology methods. Initially working independently, you will be pivotal in the development and expansion of this research team, liaising with clients, attending and presenting at international meetings and be involved in the initial training of key members of the group.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in Molecular Biology
- PhD qualified & desirable industry experience
- An outstanding reputation via a strong scientific pedigree
- Strong method development and validation skills
- Confident training staff of all levels
- Experience in gene therapy, doping and detection of the abuse of genetic manipulations is highly desirable.
