Exciting opportunity for someone wanting to take the next leap in their Scientific Sales career!
Our client is looking for driven and motivated sales/account manager to join their highly dynamic team. This role will predominantly involve the sales of a variety of analytical instruments, such as HPLCs, GCs and associated detectors (UV, FID and MS) across a range of industries. As an astute sales professional, in addition to the capex sales you will also be selling service contracts and consumables.
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience (ideally 2 years minimum) and a good understanding of analytical chromatography. Knowledge of HPLC/GC is highly desirable due to the technical nature of the sales process. This role would suit anyone currently selling any related scientific products – either office or field based.
Being home based covering mainly the South West with some Midlands based accounts, you will be expected to be autonomous in your working, highly organised and motivated. Excellent communication skills and a relevant science degree are prerequisites.
