Excellent opportunity to join a leading industry body known for their innovation and research in the food and beverage industry. The company covers every area of the farm to fork journey, encompassing product development, process improvement, analytical testing, packaging and strategy design for a variety of systems and products.
In this position you will work closely with the Chief Executive and other senior members, ensuring the company is on track to sustain growth and profitability. The core focus will be to spearhead business strategy for several departments; chemistry, microbiology, sensory and alcoholic beverages. This will include; design & development and implementation. You will ultimately be responsible for approx. 200 members of staff across these departments.
The company is well established and is looking for a highly experienced manager, someone with scientific/technical background – will be able to easily and quickly understand processes and technical elements. In addition to this, you must possess excellent business acumen and significant proven ability in a relatable area(s); business development, sales, strategy, leadership or equivalent.
