Excellent opportunity a PhD/Post-Doctoral Scientist with solid background in Molecular Biology to join a dynamic research laboratory!

Working within a dynamic team of research scientists you will work across a diverse range of industry/academia collaborative projects in the field of Cell Metrology. You will utilise your demonstrable experience in Molecular Biology, including RT-PCR, DNA & RNA extraction to assist research into a variety of sectors such as; medicine, infection, antimicrobial resistance, food authenticity and synthetic biology. Predominantly lab based, you will carry out PCR assay design and bioinformatics to successfully deliver client projects.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • PhD graduate and/or Post Doc with expert knowledge in Molecular Biology
  • Extensive experience in RT-PCR and/or Digital PCR
  • Demonstrable experience in DNA/RNA extraction from a variety of matrices
  • Excellent Bioinformatic/IT skills
  • Exceptional communication and team working skills
