Superb opportunity for an accomplished Post-Doctoral Molecular Biologist to join an internationally renowned research laboratory!

Working within a vibrant & dynamic team of research scientists you will work across a diverse range of industry/academic collaborative projects in the field of Cell Metrology. In this position you will call upon your extensive experience in Molecular Biology, specifically Next generation Sequencing (NGS) to assist research into a variety of sectors such as; medicine, infection, antimicrobial resistance, food authenticity and synthetic biology. Predominantly lab based, you will perform sequencing analysis, assay design, library preparation and bioinformatics to successfully deliver client projects.

Applications are invited from:

  • Scientists with a PhD & Post Doc in Molecular Biology (or related)
  • Experience using Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms
  • Extensive experience in RT-PCR and/or Digital PCR
  • Excellent Bioinformatic/IT skills gained from a variety of sequencing analysis software
  • Excellent communication skills
