Exciting opportunity for someone wanting to take the next leap in their Scientific Sales career and be part of global organisation!
Our client is looking for driven and motivated sales/account manager to join their highly dynamic team. This role will predominantly involve the sales of a variety of analytical instruments, such as HPLCs, GCs and associated detectors (UV, FID and MS etc) across a range of industries. As an astute sales professional, in addition to the capex sales you will also be selling service contracts and consumables.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous sales experience (ideally 2 years minimum) and a good understanding of analytical chromatography. Knowledge of HPLC/GC is a must due to the technical nature of the sales process. This role would suit anyone currently selling any related scientific products – either office or field based.
Alternatively candidates with a strong analytical lab background wanting to move into scientific sales are also encouraged to apply, explaining their interest in sales and reasons for a career change.
Being home based covering mainly Scotland and the North of England, you will be expected to be autonomous in your working, highly organised and motivated. Excellent communication skills and a relevant science degree are prerequisites.
